Cat's Sleeping Places
Raise your paw if you are always finding new places to sleep. That's what I thought. Our kitties seem to rotate through places, occasionally finding someplace new. The other day, I was looking all over for Coco kitty, when I happened to glance in the living room and spy a sleeping calico cat on our extra dining room chair.
She roused a little bit when she heard the camera click. A very little bit.
If you are noticing that my plants seem to be struggling, you would be right. After watching them fade for no apparent reason, I happened to get down close to one of them. Guess what I smelled? Yes, kitty cat pee!! Coco does not use a box, she mainly goes outside when the weather is nice. If it's not nice, she typically uses the sink. Apparently, she also uses my big planters!
I am waiting for the weather to warm up so that I can take them outside and repot and hopefully save some of them. I've put some bamboo skewers in the pots to keep her from going any more. She doesn't seem too concerned, does she?
On a happier note, I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter!! We have no one coming in town this weekend, so I think we might go hiking, though if it is warm enough I guess I should repot some plants!

Funny that I finally came by this post (sorry for being so behind in commenting). Just today, Alice started sleeping on the piano bench, just out of the blue. That's one of the things I love about cats. They're so unpredictable. Never a dull moment. 😀

What a sweet sleeping kitty shot. I love your cats markings, Calicos are so fun. Not so fun about her peeing in your plants though.

We don't have much use for chairs, but couches are another thing all together.
The Daily Pip says
One of our former cats liked to go in our potted plants as well. There was pretty much no stopping her.

Recently, we couldn't find our Josie anywhere. After an exhaustive search, we found she had climbed up into the open space of one of our recliners ... now we know to check there before anyone reclines!

Delightful picture erm... sorry about the kitty pee 😉

Hehehe seems like us cats sleep everywhere and also pee everywhere too. OK I should joke about it, but a plant indoors or out is a target..... unless its a nip plant that is in which case it's my job to guard it and sleep by it and care for it by pruning MOL
That Topaz image is lovely, and brings a great feel to the furniture in your home and Coco and it harmonise so well...

The only good thing about the humans remodel is it is giving us some new sleeping places. We think hiking sound more fun than repotting plants. Happy Easter!!!!!

We would have thought that cat pee would be a good fertilizer. We guess not.

The art is lovely. Coco probably thinks the pots are put there for her use.

Our cats are always finding new favorite places to sleep. She looks very pretty in that spot. 🙂

You need a pot with just dirt and she'd probably use that instead of your plants.
She's a pretty girl.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday. Happy Easter. ♥
