A few photos of Coco the cat in our measly southeast Tennessee snow.
I posted on Tuesday about our snow. Yep, that right there was our big snow. Not only was that all the snow we received, but it was gone within a couple of hours. As soon as I saw it, I ran out to take some photos. Coco kitty came out to help. Even she was not impressed with our snow.
I don't know about you, but I'm ready for spring. This has been such a boring winter. Barely any snow, just cold and rainy. It's supposed to gorgeous this weekend and it will probably make me long for spring even more.
I think that I am going to try and find a harness for Luxie and see if she will walk with a leash. I will feel bad being outside in the spring and summer without her. Right now I try to play with her whenever I take breaks from my computer. I know that she gets lonely. She loves it when Coco comes inside, they play like crazy. But Coco doesn't come in during the day as much when it's warm, so poor Luxie will really be lonely.
Anyone have cats that like to walk on leashes? Any tips?

I live in Nashville and I for one have been very disappointed with this winter, as winter and fall are my favorite seasons. Oh well...on we march to the sweltering heat. Beautiful shots of Lexie, as usual. <3
Alice loves to go outside, but I don't like letting her out unattended, although she has other ideas...always trying to sneak out. I may just get her a harness and see if she will do it. She might since she loves going outside.

Wee are in central Canada an wee have had one weerd Winter all so. Snow inn Novemburr (normal) an then NO snow inn Decemburr!! Not a flake! then dubble thee snow in January an then meltin snow this month....then frezin; then rain; then more snow....wee are nevurr quite sure what thee weather will bee like frum day to day.
Wee want Spring now all so....

We have had the same thing up here in IL. It snows, but then is gone with in a day or two. Coco doesn't seem to mind.

With temps between 35-40 deg C and humidity at 96-98% I'd be happy for any snow!

Coco looks like he has his winter coat. Though on a day like today, he probably doesn't need it.

Coco has had about as much snow as we have had, although that is not the norm here. I hope you can find a way to take little Luxie outside, too.

I love Coco! Also, I'm kind of glad that it's been such a mild winter. I'm such a baby when it comes to the cold.
I used to walk Wedge with a harness! At first we tried a regular, strappy harness, but he did not like it. At all. Then we ordered a Kitty Holster brand harness, which is more like a jacket and seems more comfortable. He loved it! I would suggest buying a Kitty Holster and putting it in a place where Luxie can see/sniff it. And then one day put it on her for a couple minutes with lots of treats and work your way up to having her wear it for longer periods of time. Then she will be used to it and hopefully won't be as scared when it's time to go outside! Good luck!
