You'll notice I titled this post, "Coco kitty drinking from faucet." Because that is what is happening. But some of you observant people may have noticed that Coco looks a little bit different. Yes, the full title of this post should be, "Coco kitty drinking from a faucet and what happens when you have a cat that likes to roll on driveways and you have neighborhood children that like to use sidewalk chalk to draw artwork on their driveways."
For several days in a row, Coco came home with a different color on her. One day it was blue, the next day it was mostly pink. We couldn't figure out what was going on. Who was coloring our cat?
Then one morning, while driving out of the subdivision, I noticed Coco walking back from the neighbors two houses down from us. As I passed their house, I looked at their driveway and saw some sidewalk chalk art. It was lovely balloons and flowers in pretty blues and pinks.
Thank goodness the girl eventually ran out of chalk or got tired of drawing on her driveway.
For today's artsy photo, used Topaz Labs.

Sorry I've been so lax in my visits. Thanks for sticking with me. <3
I love it! That had to be totally puzzling. She looks like she's jumping on the bandwagon with the brightly colored hair trend. lol Love the artsy shot...the colors really pop. 🙂

There's an image on the internet of a similarly coloured Labrador. I do like your faucet set.

How funny! Before I read what I happened, I thought the blue was an added touch from a photo app. She looks so cute.

So funny! What a cutie. I hope you have a great time on your trip to the Redwoods! We stayed in Crescent City and then headed up to the Redwoods for hikes and day trips. If you have time the Oregon Caves National Park is a great time as well.

Oh thank goodness it's just chalk, Miss Pam. I was worried! I thought maybe Coco was turning blue 'cause there might be something in the water! I heard about those people in Michigan that got bad water. That would've been scary! EEK!

We sure did enjoy your fun pix with the faucet but were afraid to ask about the blue blotch on your side! We wondered if your human had made a mistake with Photoshop but were afraid to ask...he he. Glad to hear the full story but sorry you got, um, painted! Speaking of which we enjoyed the Topaz painting of you!

Definitely not sad and blue and pretty in pink would have been lovely... except if it got onto anything clean MOL
Makes for a lovely Topaz selfie though

Coco looks lovely pink or blue. The little Grandhuman who comes to visit likes to color with sidewalk chalk on our back porch.

THAT must have been indeed puzzling for Coco to come home pink! She’s a beauty. Great shot of her drinking with the little pink tongue out.

I was wondering why Coco was tinted in the photo, it was the chalk 🙂 Great photos and art. Phoebe loved to drink from the sink and get her forehead wet.

WhT a great story. Coco is just getting into the Halloween spirit. Dressing up in color. She's a very pretty kitty.
