A few photos of our calico cat, Coco enjoying the fall weather!
Did you miss the kitties the past two weeks? We've been on vacation! Mr. Sidewalk Shoes and I went up to the Pacific Northwest and proceeded to eat and drink our way through Oregon. It was wonderful. Even with a constant threat of rain, we managed to hike in the redwoods, walk on the beach, visit some wineries and breweries and eat, and eat, and eat.
We have a cat/house sitter so the kitties were able to stay home. Even though they were very well taken care of, they were very happy to see us and have been extra cuddly and attentive. We came back to a yard full of leaves, it seems that fall occurred while we were gone.
With Coco's warm coloring, she is definitely a fall kitty cat! She loves playing in the leaves. Chasing them. Attacking them. She has also realized that they make a good camouflage and I caught her several times yesterday, hunkered down in the them, hoping to fool Mr. Chipmunk who lives in our woods.
Coco also loves sitting on top of the car on these frosty mornings. I'm not sure why, but it is one of her favorite places. Perhaps it's warmer than the ground? Or maybe she just likes the vantage point. Whatever it is, I often find her there when I go out to take some early morning photos.

(Whistling) Pretty Coco lady! She is very photogenic! Winky winks! I like to sit on Mom's car, too. I don't get to go outside, but I sit on it in the garage. The hood is nice and warm! Happy Thanksgiving Miss Pam & Coco! Smooch!

I hope your vacation was great! Coco is such a beautiful kitty. Maybe the metal of the roof of the car absorbs the sun's heat well in the morning. Who knows. Kitties have their own way of thinking about things. I hope you have a happy Thanksgiving!
