This post is probably going to be short because as usual I am crazy busy. People often ask me how I like being retired. Well, yes, I retired from teaching, but I definitely didn't retire from everything else. I have 2 blogs, this one and Grey is the New Black. Those of you that blog, know how time consuming blogging really is. It's not just the blogging, it's all the social media that goes along with it. I actually get up at 6 am Mon-Fri and spend the first hour or so just on social media. I yum, stumble, tweet, pin, and flip all my posts from this blog and Grey is the New Black.
I also have a photography business, Pamela Greer Photography. I have already done 40 sessions this year. I try to limit myself to one session a week because of all the blogging. I am already booked every single weekend in October, and I have one weekend left in September and one weekend left in November. Which means that after August, I will not have a weekend off until almost Christmas. It's not just the time for the sessions, it's the time editing all the photos.
And as if all that wasn't enough, I am opening up an Etsy shop. I easily have enough stuff to sell full time on Etsy. I used to sell on Ebay many years ago and I still have lots vintage fabric and vintage sewing notions. I have vintage clothing, purses and tub after tub of vintage linens. Right now I'm just trying to wrap my head around the details of it, the shipping, the accounting. So, that will be even more photos to edit!
Every single thing I am doing could easily be a full time job - the blogging, the photography and now the Etsy. Sometimes I feel like I am spreading myself to thin and ending up being a master of nothing.
Somehow though there is still time to take a tiny break and sit on the porch and let Coco help me chill out. Thanks for letting me vent about my crazy schedule.
For her artsy photo. I used the Topaz labs.

You do seem super busy, but it sounds like you're living your passion. Hang in there! It's all worth it. 🙂
Coco is such a beauty. Just looking at her could bring tranquility, I imagine.

I'm retired too, but I'm busy as ever volunteering. Funny how that works. It's all good.
Coco is a most good looking cat. I'm guessing your photography helps a great deal too.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday. ☺

Miss Pam, I hope you are making time for yourself. Mom likes the Italian way of thinking that she heard someone say: "Work to live" instead of "Live to work", which people here in American tend to do. She would like to strive for the Italian way, but it can be a challenge when you she gets doing many things, like you. As a kitty, I don't have to follow any schedules or do anything. It is NICE! Hugs! Humans can learn a thing or two from us kitties.

Whoo! Too much for me and I'm just reading about. Those moments spent with Coco Kitty on the porch are the way to go for some time out.

Glad to hear you're starting the Etsy shop to take care of any free time you might have had! But really, as long as you're doing things you love, it might be work, but somehow you don't mind it. At least that's what I find with writing books and blogging. It's all good as long as you still have time to relax with a cat once in a while. 🙂

You sure are busy! But it sounds like you're doing what you love so it's a good kind of busy 🙂 Coco is such a stunner.

Somehow being at home from work gives the peep very little extra time. Blogging and now writing takes up nearly all the time. Still you have to do what you want to do in life else one never feels full sated by what is done.
Hope the Easy goes OK for you and you get some free time... eventually
Coco looks as delightful as ever, Topaz really compliments her coat and smile.

YOU are an OVER ACHIEVER!! (kidding, sort of!!) I have two blogs as well, my dog's blog and Cody's. I am AWFUL about posting on my dog's blog. Just don't have the time and I DON'T have another job like you do (your photography business). I don't know how you do it all, but I think you do them all quite well!
