This week's post is probably going to be short and sweet. A marauding bunch of blackbirds has discovered my bird feeder. Now, I am not prejudice when it comes to birds, but they literally just seem to rape and pillage the bird food. None of the other less aggressive birds can even get a chance to eat. So every minute or so, I have to run outside and clap my hands to shoo them away. Then the finches, cardinals and woodpeckers fly back in for a quick nibble before they are run off by the black birds again!
So, remember last week when I showed you how Luxie curled herself up to fit perfectly on the laptop case. Well, this week you can see that Coco takes a decidedly different approach. She prefers to be a little loose with her interpretation of laying on the laptop case.
Then Luxie shows up to try and tell her how it's done. In case you're wondering what I'm attempting to do here - this is where I plan my menu and make my grocery list, which explains the store ad on the table. I bring out my laptop to look up recipes and to put my menu into Evernote. I use my iPad to look up cookbooks that I have as ibooks. It's a complicated process made more complicated by the help of two kitty cats.
Since none of these photos particularly lend themselves to art work, I chose another Luxie photo to run through Topaz Labs. If you look closely, you might notice the Mary lamp and an old Trader Vic's Cocktail book - we are nothing if not eclectic around here.

Those bully blackbirds! I don't envy you that.
They're forever lying on things. We brought home pizza Tuesday night. Alice proceeded to sit on the boxes. The horror! I envisioned toppings stuck to the lid. lol

All the pictures are great. Crows can be rather intimidating we had a murder of crows show up in our yard. We choose to stay inside until they flew away.
