    Della Flora Pinot Grigio

LAST UPDATED: January 31, 2019 PUBLISHED: May 28, 2016 By Pam Greer 1 Comment As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

A review of Della Flora Pinot Grigio for Weekend Wine Reviews #294.

    Della Flora Pinot Grigio

Della Flora Pinot Grigio, Italy, Wine Insiders.  They say:  A crisp and refreshing Italian Pinot Grigio from grapes grown in the Northwest region of Italy.  With quenching flavors of fresh citrus and ripe nectarines, this wine has perfect minerality and is a true example of what a good Pinot Grigio should be.  A wine that pleases everyone.  It tastes like:  lemon, tangerines, nectarines and ginger.  It is best served iced cold.  Pairs well with buttery fish, crab and soft cow's milk cheeses.  We say:  light and refreshing, lots of citrus and fresh fruit.  Buy again:  maybe, we are not big Pinot Grigio drinkers.

Pinot Grigio is my favourite summer white and we have a marvellous range of choices here. Two Italian Brothers is a good one. I know it can be an easy drinking wine but the good ones have complex flavours. I prefer the ones with apple and pear rather than heavy citrus.
