Infusing water with pineapple and mint is an easy way to turn plain water into spa water!
One of my favorite things about our hotel stay in Savannah was the lovely decanter of water in the lobby. It was one of those huge glass ones with the spigot, like you find at HomeGoods. Inside was water filled with fresh fruit. There were oranges and strawberries and I think possibly limes. It was delightful. Every time we came back from exploring the city, we poured a refreshing glass or two.
Luckily making spa water or infused water at home is easy! Time does most of the work and it doesn't even take that much time.
Fruit - almost any fruit will work. Pineapple was on sale, so I started with that. I love infusing with pineapple - my Pineapple Jalapeño Infused Tequila is a favorite! Strawberries are also a favorite.
Herbs - again, choose your favorite herb. Mint is especially delightful and refreshing. If you have any extra, make some Homemade Mint Extract!
This was my first attempt at home and it was so good! I simply peeled and diced the pineapple, added it and a handful of mint to filtered water. Placed it in the fridge overnight. The next day I strained out the fruit and the herbs.
You want to strain out the fruit after about 12 hours, so that it doesn't start to decompose. You just want it to impart it's flavors.
This delicious water will keep in the fridge for about 3 to 4 days, but believe me, it won't last that long!
More easy infusions.

Delicious and lovely infused fruit water. I'm so happy you liked Savannah! I haven't been to the Marriott, but my daughter was married on the grounds of the Westin Hotel across the river.

I never would have thought of the pineapple, especially with mint. Sounds delish, though.
Mr. Sidewalk Shoes may have just invented a new cocktail!

I'm with you on the "icky brown liquor" opinion. Your fruit looks really pretty in the pitcher; lucky you, having Mr. Sidewalk Shoes find such a pretty one!
