If you have indoor kitty cats, you need to be growing cat grass indoors! It is so easy and cats love it! Even my outside cat eats some of it when she comes inside!

Growing Cat Grass Indoors
I've mentioned it before, but if you have indoor kitty cats, you really need to be growing cat grass indoors for them. Most vets speculate that cats eat grass because it aids in digestion, may help with hairballs or provide additional nutrients. So, even though the jury is out on what benefit cat grass has, everyone agrees that cats love it!
Our outdoor cats eat grass all the time, so I decided Luxie, our indoor kitty, needed her own supply of cat grass.
Organic Pet Grass Kit
I've been buying cat grass seeds and growing them, sometimes successfully and sometimes not. Then I started buying the small containers of it from the pet store, but those didn't last long at all. Then I found this adorable Cat Grass Kit on Amazon. Note - this is not a sponsored post, I saw this, loved it and bought it. After having it for a couple of weeks, I love it even more!!!
The kit comes with a packet of seeds and soil pod. You place the pod in the cutest container ever and add water. Then you scoop out a little of the soil, add the packet of seeds and put the soil back on top. Within 3-4 days you have sprouts and then this stuff grows like crazy! It grew so much better than the seeds I used to buy!
Pet Ladies Organic Cat Grass Kit
There is so much to love about this!! First of all Luxie loves it. She nibbles on it all day long. Second, it is adorable. It's so cute. Instead of leaving the cat grass on the floor by the front door, like I used to, it now sits on a window table in the dining room. It also comes in black - Black Cat Grass Kit. The grass has been growing for a couple of weeks now and I am getting ready to purchase this Cat Grass Refill Kit.
I was paying eight dollars every two weeks for not nearly as good grass from the pet store, so this is going to save me money. I will be setting up the refill on subscribe and save through Amazon, easy peasy. Also, the soil holds water really well, so you don't have to water it often, and it doesn't end up with fruit flies like some cat grass can.
For my artsy photo I used Topaz Labs:

I need to do this too, now that I have indoor cats. And that kitty cup is so cute! <3

Our Mom won't let us have cat grass because she says it made us barf and she could hardly keep up with cleaning after us. Sometimes, cat barf is like art, so we don't understand where she's coming from. MOL!

That little mug you're growing the cat grass in is so cute! I grew some cat grass last summer, but my cats weren't interested in it. Can you believe that?! Lol!!

We tried that once but it didn't grow very well. Cat bro Bert is a real nip head, so he would love it. May have to try growing it again.

Great shots of Luxie! Love the arsty image especially. I really need to get some of this for my girls. I keep meaning to. I know it would probably really help Arya with her stomach issues.

I think Luxie is quite pleased with the quality of that cat grass and container! Mom has brought me home cat grass from the pet stores, but they don't stay furr-esh long. There are some seeds in my cupboard just waiting to be planted by Mom. I think she is purr-crastinating. Tee hee hee.

The mom grew us cat grass in a little pot but then some cat (Wally!) chewed on it and actually pulled the whole thing out of the pot and made a big mess so the mom says no more cat grass for us. Phooey!

Very pretty art. I never have good luck with growing kitty grass, probably because I forget to water it 🙂

That grass looks very tender and fresh. Luxie is obviously enjoying it a lot.
