So, I sent Mr. Sidewalk Shoes to Costco with a list of food items that I needed. He came back with them, plus a Yamaha Sound Bar! Luxie approved. It was her first box and she demonstrated the fine art of kitty cats and their boxes.
Luxie had her first vet visit. We pleased to find out that she was very healthy other than some nasty worms which we took care of - oh, and about a zillion fleas. I'd been using a flea comb on her and getting off as many as I could, but now she's had a dose of flea medicine and is much happier.

We just bought a sound bar, too. New TVs have pretty crappy speakers, and my dearly beloved has been griping to no end about it. Luxie is adorable! We had a visiting kitten, and I posted his picture yesterday. He was so flea-ridden when my daughter found him that she gave him a bath in her kitchen sink, and named him Flea. Strange girl, adorable kitten.
