A few photos of our calico cat, Luxie, by her cat grass. Post may contain affiliate links, full disclosure on sidebar.
One of Luxie’s favorite jobs during the day is to lay on the rug by her cat grass. It’s a task she takes very seriously! Do you grow cat grass for your inside cats? It’s my understanding that cat grass helps in digestion and may help with hairballs. I know that my outside cats munch on grass all the time, so I did some research, and started growing some for Luxie. I found this one on Amazon that even comes with an adorable cat planter, which is probably going in my cart just as soon as I finish this post!
She loves her cat grass. After waking in the morning, she dashes ahead of me down the stairs and has a quick nibble on the grass before wandering into the kitchen for breakfast. She goes back to the grass several times a day. I keep a perpetual loop of cat grass growing. I have two pots and once one is done, the other one is ready. I take the old pot, toss the grass and dirt on my flower beds to decompose and start another pot. Easy peasy.
For today’s artsy photo, I again used the Topaz Labs plugin.
