So, on Thursday, I posted my review of Picture Perfect Lighting. In my review, I stated that while reading the book I realized I needed to get a little notebook to take notes. Here is my proof. I sit at the dining room table reading my book and taking notes in my favorite notebook, a Moleskin. Luxie finds this all fascinating. Or rather, she finds the ribbon bookmark and elastic band fascinating.
I'm keeping this kind of short and sweet today. I've decided that I'm going to try and write Saturday's, Sunday's and Monday's blog posts on Fridays, so that I can take the weekend off. If you let it, blogging can be a 24/7 job. It's crazy.
For our artsy photo, I went a little different with the Topaz Labs plugin - using I believe the crayon sketch preset.

Luxie is gorgeous! The perfect model for practicing your new skills. Lighting can be a tough one. In my apartment, we really only have 2 windows so there are a ton of shadows all over the place. Sometimes I prefer to take photos at night with artificial light just because that lighting is more even. It makes motion captures hard, though.
