What is it about kitty cats and Christmas trees? As soon as the tree is up and the tree skirt is in place, you are sure to find a kitty cat laying underneath it. I would say that it’s the soft fluffy tree skirt that we added last year, except that even when we just used an old sheet, the cats still laid under it. I do think though that the fluffy tree skirt makes the time spent under the tree even more enjoyable. Every morning when I come downstairs, I find her under the tree. During the day she alternates between her own tree and underneath the real one.
So far she has been very good with the ornaments. We didn’t string the glass beads, worried that those might be too much of a distraction and too dangerous. We compromised with some old gold ribbon that I used to put on the stair cases. Sometimes when I am downstairs working, I’ll hear the telltale sound of an ornament hitting the floor and then rolling away with the sound of kitty cats claws running after it.
For my artsy photo this week, I again used the Topaz plugin.
Merry Christmas everyone!
