Minimalist French Wardrobe A Neutral Sweater

LAST UPDATED: October 14, 2024 PUBLISHED: February 21, 2018 By Pam Greer 9 Comments As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

One of the key components of my Minimalist French Wardrobe is a comfortable Philosophy sweater in a neutral color.  Here I have styled it simply with black pants and shoes.  Post contains affiliate links.

French Minimalist Wardrobe A Neutral Sweater

I thought that I would share with you one of the workhorses of my French Minimalist Wardrobe - a slightly oversized neutral Philosophy sweater.   I absolutely love this sweater.  It is a soft neutral beige/taupe color.  It is cotton, so here in Southeast Tennessee, I can wear it fall, winter and spring.  It can be dressed up or down.

This time I have paired it with some cropped black Jules & Leopold pants from Steinmart.  For shoes, I opted for the super comfortable black lace ups from Clarks.  This is a great casual look, very minimalist, and comes together in a snap.

For something  little different, I've decided to wear this same sweater for 3 posts in a row.  Next week, I will dress it up a bit, and then on the third week it will be back to a casual look.  This is what I love about a small wardrobe, the ease at which you can mix and match.   There is no stress.  This is very loosely based on a the French Minimalist Capsule Wardrobe from Classy Yet Trendy.

Also, my orchid is blooming.  And, Luxie says hi.

I don't have one. I found the sweater at Nordstrom Rack and I haven't seen it online anywhere.

I love the posts with Luxie saying hello and posing with you. That's a great sweater and I look forward to seeing you changes looks with it.
Work has been crazy so I haven't been updating my sites or visiting at all. Forget Instagram, I haven;t been in awhile and I love that site! Maybe things will calm down.
