Patchouli Girl Outside!
I think it's been awhile since I've posted some photos of Patchouli. It's also been awhile since I've posted current photos. This morning, I had a photo session downtown and when I came home, it had warmed up a little bit. Since I had my better camera right at hand, I decided to take a few gardening photos and Patchouli came outside to join me.
See those purple flowers? I don't know what they are, but they are everywhere! Several years ago, our neighbor sprinkled a pack of wildflower seeds in his backyard. These were in the packet of seeds. He has since moved away, but these flowers have decided that they love our yard!
Also, that big green plant by the bricks is, of course, a weed. It certainly doesn't take them long to rally after we have a few warm days!
A Little Grass Eating
She mainly comes outside to munch on some grass. She makes her way around the tufts of taller grass. I guess some grass grows quicker than others. I think it's about time for the first mowing of the season, don't you?
And, since she is such a scaredy cat, she spends most of her time constantly looking over shoulder.
We didn't stay out long. Just enough to enjoy the almost perfect weather (not too hot, not too cold) the kind that only comes around in the spring and the fall.
We are now back inside, her napping on the couch and me typing up this blog post. I have "Clean the Bathroom" on my to do list today, but it won't take much convincing for me to put it off for another day.
For my artsy photo, I used Topaz Labs, a little bit colorful this time!

Such well composed selfie/images and the flowers and weed make it spring to life and extra colour just where needed. Mrs H mowed the lawn this morning but the spring warmth has gone so we both are inside—fire lit, enjoying the selfies that show the sun...
