A review of Picpoul De Pinet, 2013 for Weekend Wine Reviews #306.
Picpoul De Pinet, 2013, France. They say: crystal clear with green highlights, though it can be more golden from older vines. It has a soft delicate nose with hints of acacia and hawthorn blossom. It is delicate and fresh in the mouth with an excellent acid/structure balance. It is splendid with seafood and shellfish as well as other traditional Mediterrranean dishes. It also pairs well with cheese and chocolate. It is best drunk young and serve cool. We say: peach and apricot. Refreshing and fruity. Light yet complex. Very nice!!

Our weather is warming and a glass of something as delightful as this would be delightful with luncheon.
