Too Much Rain!!
It's been a terrible week for kitty cats in Soddy Daisy, TN this week. Rain. Rain. And more rain. Everyday Coco and Patchouli head to the door to check and see if it's still raining. And it is. Lots. There was flash floods, schools closed and one woman drowned in the flash floods! It's been awful.
Then, the assistant principal of the Soddy Daisy High School makes some ridiculous statement on a video that goes viral! Even Cher gets in the act of tweeting about it!
Soddy Daisy makes the national news twice in one week and it's not good!
Luxie sheltered among the orchids, watched the rain falling. Eventually though there was nothing left to do, but sleep until the rain finally stopped.
You can see how dark and gloomy it is. Perfect for kitty cat napping. While we all enjoy a good excuse for a nap, seeing a little sunshine this weekend sure would be nice.

Some men, they think they think they have gods gift and absolved of all things. Such a shame this still goes on and ruins folks lives. So so sad about the flooding and loss of life. I hope that it stops very soon and life gets back to a better way afterwards.
We love your selfies and by default, easies too. I mean if you cant go out you can still get some quality practice in... MOL

Lovely photographs. We have been getting too much rain too. It was lovely to have sunshine two days in a row. Mom actually took the dogs for a walk.. Of course then her and Tuiren went and fell in the pond, honestly you would think they would both know they are too old to jump the stream that feeds into it.

I taught from 1968-1999, mostly in a junior high. It is sad to see nothing much has changed - in the schools. Or with calico kitties - they are still beautiful !

It's so very dry here. Hasn't rained in months and it doesn't look like there will be rain anytime soon. Wish I could give you some of our dry weather and you could give us some of that rain.
