This is going to be a super quick post today! Some of you may not know, but outside of my blogging life, I am a professional photographer. My business is Pamela Greer Photography. Right now I am in the middle of prom season and it is completely crazy!! I think I am photographing 12 couples tomorrow and even more next weekend! I'm totally stressed because they are calling for rain and thunderstorms! Plus, I have to finish editing some senior sessions from earlier in the week. Busy. Busy. Busy.
So, it's totally random cat photos again. And, once again, I forgot to do the artsy photo! Once May gets here, it will slow down and bit and things can get back to normal.
I'm sure those of you with indoor/outdoor cats recognize the above photo. This is is her signal that she is ready for me to open the door. Open the door, so that she can stand half in half out for however long I will let her. Usually until I make the move like I'm going to close the door on her and then she begrudgingly goes out.
No, we didn't get a new kitty. The yellow tabby belongs to our neighbor. She loves us though and as soon as we pull in the driveway or go out the door, she runs over for lots of petting. She is one of those cats that goes a little crazy when you pet her, so you have to pet her in batches to keep her from working herself into a frenzy! If you try to take your hand away, she will grab it and pull it back. So sweet.

Hope your prom photo shoots went well!
I'm glad I don't have to deal with the in or out tactics, although Alice is always trying to get out. lol
A female yellow tabby...now that is rare! Sounds like a very sweet kitty. <3

Any cat picture is a good picture as far as we are concerned.
I know you are a busy photographer but your work is making memories these young people will treasure for many years to come. Thank you for that.
Happy Thankful Thursday!

It is funny that your kitty begs to go out, but doesn't really want to go out. My kitties would do the same thing if they were allowed out. Your photos are always so beautiful! 🙂

Random or not, thanks for sharing such beautiful photos.
Good luck for no rain!

Such beautiful photos. You always seem to get the lighting just right: Not too bright and not too dark. I'm sure your prom photo clients are thrilled with your work. And you have all of these sweeties to purr you to calm when you get home.

OMC...we are masters at the half-in-half-out pose. We'll do it until Mom finally shoves our backend with her foot. We can't help it. It's a cat thing. So happy you had time to snap and post a couple precious cat photos. Mom says that she cannot even wrap her mind around having to spend all that time with teenagers taking prom photos. You are probably due for a battlefield promotion! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo & Cooper Murphy

Are you driving Mom crazy> Good job MOL

Great random photos. It's amazing how a kitty hanging out in the backyard gets kitty's attention so quickly. My kitties like to wait by the slider going out to the deck, just waiting to see if it opens and they can bolt outside for supervised outside fun.

Gorgeous as always. Good luck with the photoshoots. Keeping my fingers crossed that the rain hold off!

MOL we LOVE to sit half in half out the door, it drives our folks crazy. We also like to play one wants in one wants out and but the dog.............. which involves getting Fenris to stand in front of the door so we can insist that we just can't possibly get by him, even if he lays down. And Mommy totally wasn't thinking when she let Youngest Boy name Yin because it sounds like Fen so they can both pretend that they thought she was talking to them.
Mom: Fen Sit
Mom: Not you Yin, you need to come out now.
Mom: Fen not you, you sit.
