A review of Truvée Chardonnay 2013 from the McBride Sisters.
Last week I reviewed the Truvée Red Blend from The McBride Sisters. I encourage you to go read that review if you missed it last week. The story of the McBride Sisters is simply fascinating. We loved the red blend and are happy to say that we also love the Chardonnay!
Truvée Chardonnay, 2013, The McBride Sisters, Central Coast, California. They say: Nose: Pear, Pineapple, green apple, honeysuckle and citrus. Palate: Tropical fruit, white peach, citrus with just a hint of vanilla. We say: lovely and balanced. Peach and honeysuckle, creamy, slightly tart on the finish. Very nice!! Buy again: yes!
For those keeping track, this is Weekend Wine Review #260!

It is blistering hot right now-a good glass of chardonnay can be a beautiful thing.
