Wearing Men's T Shirts

I'm too old and married to say that I am wearing a boyfriend tee, but that is basically what I am doing.   Wearing men's t shirts gives me inexpensive options for my capsule wardrobe.

Wearing White Men's T Shirts

A couple of week's ago, I did a post talking about my white t shirt for my Spring Capsule Wardrobe.   In that post, I mentioned that I wear white men's t shirts.  A couple of people asked to see photos of what they look like on.  So, here you go.   I've paired them with Lee Jeans (Modern Dream Jeans, Similar Levi Style) and Adidas Tennis Shoes (Black and White, Blush that I Want!)

Size Medium Men's for a Looser Look

I buy Men's V Neck t shirts in packets of six (Fruit of the Loom), in two different sizes.  I buy a package of mediums (the first two pictures) and I buy a package of smalls (photo below.)  You can see in the first two photos that the medium is a loose fit.

I wear these almost every day in the summer.  I don't know what your summer looks like, but I spend a lot of time in the garden.  These shirts get dirty and sweaty and it saves my nice white t shirts for other days.

Men's Small White T Shirt

You can see that the men's small fits a little snugger.  It is not quite as loose.  I tend to wear these other outdoor activities, like food or music events.  There is still a good chance that they are going to get food spilled on them, sweaty and dirty.

Now, I am not saying that these are adorable fashion statements.  But for what I wear them for, they are perfect.  I can't afford to be wearing nice white t shirts when I am out pulling weeds.  At the beginning of each summer, I check my stack and figure out how many are still wearable.  Some get put in the rags pile, and I buy a new package of six.  Easy peasy.
