Winter Capsule Wardrobe The Camel Sweater
Some may find it surprising, but since starting a capsule wardrobe (click here to see my capsule wardrobe journey on Grey is the New Black) I actually shop for clothes a lot less. Like right now, I don't need to add anything to my wardrobe, I have everything I need. Oh, I might still find something here or there, but it will be one of my colors: black, white, gray, cream, camel or blush. It will go with practically everything in my wardrobe, like this camel sweater.
This look actually contains two things that I bought this year, for my winter capsule: a camel sweater and a new purse. I needed another neutral sweater in something besides gray or black. I found this Jeanne Pierre sweater at Steinmart. It was exactly what I was looking for, a little longer in length and I like the pocket details on the front.
The other addition was this adorable Kate Spade purse that I found at TJ Maxx. I love the deep burgundy color and in the first photo you can see that the sides are my favorite blush pink! It adds just the right pop of color and goes perfectly with my neutrals! I am not one to buy a new purse every year, I used my last fall/winter purse for the past 3 years. So, expect to see this one for awhile!
The black leggings have been in my wardrobe for several years and the Nine West leopard flats have also been a staple for years. This outfit is based loosely on outfit ninety-three from the French Minimalist Capsule wardrobe from Classy Yet Trendy.
