Winter Capsule Wardrobe The Gray Cardigan

This is my first fashion post on Sidewalk Shoes, so I'll take just a smidgen of your time to explain a Capsule Wardrobe. I started doing a capsule wardrobe last fall (you can read about that here.) Basically, a Capsule Wardrobe is a set of clothes that all work together. I use The French Minimalist Winter Capsule from Classy Yet Trendy as an inspiration, but make lots of liberal substitutions.
My winter capsule wardrobe colors are grey, black, white, camel (or ivory) and a possible accent color. One of the staples of my winter capsule is a good gray cardigan, I have one in light gray and one a dark gray. This light gray cardigan is from J. Jill. It's a heavier weight and can be worn instead of coat on our mild winter days.
I've paired it with a black Merona long sleeve t-shirt from Target, grey leggings from Athena Marie, black Antonio Melani boots, and a black and white plaid scarf that I've had forever. You can see how these basic neutrals can be worn together in lots of different ways and they go with every other piece in my Winter Capsule Wardrobe!

I'm interested in the capsule wardrobe so I need to go back and read your post about it. I am one of the crazy women who doesn't like shopping because it's confusing for me. It's difficult for me to know which sections to shop. Fortunately I have a friend at work who gives me clothes and for that, I am grateful. But if I could coordinate a capsule wardrobe my problems would be solved!
