A review of Zazou Picpoul de Pinet 2014 for Weekend Wine Reviews #329.
Zazou Picpoul de Pinet, 2014, France. Wine Awesomeness. They say: Picpoul is an indigenous French grape. It literally translates to “sting the lips.” The grape gots it’s name because the win is high in acidity – so it’s refreshing and tart. If summer had a perfume this would be it: fresh flowers with a hint of citrus. Vibrant, bright and refreshing like a bowl of ripe lemons. We say: floral and citrus. Very nice and refreshing!
