A review of 2016 Underwood Rosé for Weekend Wine Reviews.
2016 Underwood Rosé
2016 Underwood Rosé, Oregon, Wine Awesomeness. This Rosé is made up Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Muscat, and Chardonnay. This wine is from Union Wine Company, you can also find it in a can. The grapes used to make this Rosé came from four vineyards in three different wine regions in Oregon.
"Summer Water" is a term used for an easy drinking summer Rosé. This wine fits that bill perfectly. It has captured the essence of summertime. On the nose: clean with a slight touch of brine, sea salt-crusted ultra juicy peaches and cantaloupe. Notes of cantaloupe, honey and white flowers. On the palate: juicy red fruit notes of strawberry, cranberry, and raspberry. It is crisp with a medium acidity.
We really enjoyed this wine, as we do most wines that we get from Wine Awesomeness. If you'd like to learn more about Union Wine Company - visit their website - Union Wine Company.
Some other Rosés that I have reviewed: 2016 Upwell Rosé, 2017 Lekker Rosé, and 2016 Secret Identity Rosé.
