    Healthy Homemade Popsicles

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm not a fan of summer.  I hate hot weather.  I marvel at people that I see running by me with sweat streaming off of them.  If there is one thing I hate worse than hot weather, it's sweating.   I would have been perfectly happy in those days when women walked around with parasols, never letting the sun touch them.

The only thing that helps is cold treats.  Lots of them.  Preferably healthy.  Like these healthy homemade popsicles.

These are made of good for you things like yogurt, blueberries, bananas, and honey, they are super easy and taste like summer goodness on a stick!

All you have to do is place all the ingredients in your favorite blender and freeze in cute popsicle molds like these or these.

I’d recommend less honey if you don’t want them super sweet!

WOW! All of these popcycles look fabulous! They're so creamy when they're made with yogurt too. I think the blueberry ones are my favorite. 🙂

I'm with you on not being a fan of the heat - I can do up to a point, but then it's just too hot for me. But these look a perfect way to cool down. I love that they're healthier and the color is just beautiful!

Hot, humid Sydney summers are not my idea of a good time. These banana berry pops are so much better for you than commercially made ones.

I kind of have the opposite summer problem to you, Pam. I'd just settle for steady, consistent weather. As a Brit, I can never guarantee I'll be warm enough if i wear a skirt and go without a coat or too hot if go for jeans. Also, I could get wet at any moment 🙁 🙁 especially this summer. So yeah, summer is over-rated. However, these colourful popsicles look like the perfect mood booster when the weather is grey.

It sounds like you might need to come to Boston for the summer. A few days ago I was wearing a polar fleece (and still shivering). Can you believe that? I think the temperatures are back on the rise. . .but as far as weather goes. . .my experience with the summers here is that they are pretty mild.

But even on those shiver me timbers sort of days, I will always and forever be in the mood for a healthy popsicle. I love that you made these beauties with yogurt and sweetened them with honey. . . because. . .well. . .that means I can devour frozen treat after treat without guilt.

That's a brilliant and healthy treat for these dog days. It's miserable here and I agree with you 100%, the heat of summer sucks. I am aching to wear my leather jackets!
