    Strawberry, Banana, and Kiwi Smoothie

This strawberry, banana, and kiwi smoothie is so rich and creamy, you'll think it's a decadent dessert!

Two tall glasses filed with strawberry banana smoothie, garnished with a strawberry.

So, guess who got a Vitamix for Mother's Day!!!  Of course, by "getting" I mean that I made my family go to Costco.  I made them stand in front of the Vitamix demo and try every single thing he made.  I started promising them lots and lots of smoothies.

Well, after the first taste, I didn't have to "make" them do anything, they were hooked.  Then I even let them lift the box and put it in the cart for me.  Now, that my friends is how you get exactly what you want for Mother's Day!

    Ingredients.

Strawberries, kiwi, bananas, and milk in a blender.

Milk - use your favorite milk. You can make this dairy-free by using a plant-based milk. I like to use full-fat grass-fed milk, for a really rich smoothie!

Banana - frozen. I like to cut all my bananas into fourths and store them in a container in the freezer.

Strawberries - I've used fresh, but frozen would also work.

Kiwi - fresh or did you know you can freeze kiwi?

Close up of strawberry, banana, and kiwi smoothies in two glasses.

I think that I have used the Vitamix every day since we brought it home!  We are big dessert people in the Sidewalk Shoes household.

Dinner just doesn't fill like dinner unless there is a little something afterwards.  While cakes and cookies make perfect little somethings, they aren't good for you by any stretch of the imagination.  Enter the Vitamix.

We have had a smoothie for dessert every day.  My number one tip - frozen bananas.  If you have frozen bananas you can make a smoothie out of anything!

This smoothie has no added sugar or sweetener, though you wouldn't believe that when you taste it.  It is so rich and creamy and decadent, you won't believe it's good for you!

Exactly how Mother's day gist selection should be done. I tend to use golden kiwifruit as it's not as astringent.

I love a simple smoothie that is easy to make and natural. Nothings beats the flavor of fresh fruit in season. Yum.
