Slow Cooker Recipes

There are a lot of reasons to love the slow cooker and you can see many of those reasons right here at Sidewalk Shoes!  That slow, low-temperature heat typically helps to bring out the flavors in a dish and, as a bonus, it is pretty much set-it-and-forget-it! 

It can be a valuable helper in the kitchen for those with a busy schedule and not much time for preparing a meal. The crock-pot is fabulous for stews, soups and those delicious one-pot meals that seem to hit the spot in the fall and winter.  And it really works its tenderizing-magic on those budget cuts of meat!
