    25 Homemade Liqueurs and Infusions

I was organizing the categories, when I realized that I had 25 homemade liqueurs and infused alcohol recipes!  25!  I decided I needed to gather them up all one post for you!

I have everything from fruity vodkas, lavender infused gin, spicy tequila and a winter solstice brew.

There are holiday treats like cranberry liqueur, homemade apple pie moonshine and candy cane vodka!

These make great gifts for your foodie and cocktail loving friends, just make sure and make enough to keep some for yourself!

Decanter of red liquid with two goblets.

This Cranberry Liqueur is made every year at our house.  The deep red color turns every cocktail into a festive cocktail and the sweet tart flavor is divine.  So pretty when bottled and given as a gift.

Mason jar with brown liquid and vanilla bean.

In just about two weeks time, you can have this heavenly vanilla infused rum.  So good in coffee and hot chocolate!

    Bottle of homemade blackberry liqueur.

When I couldn't find any Creme de Mure at my local liquor stores, I made my own blackberry liqueur.  My blackberries had quite a bit of red in them (it was later in the season) so my liqueur didn't turn as deep purple as it would have if I'd made it with early season blackberries.  It still tastes amazing!

Mason jar filled with dark liquid and tag reading apple pie moonshine.

All it takes is about an hour to make this delightful apple pie moonshine!  It's your dessert and after dinner cocktail all in one!

Jar filled with pears and liquid and spices.

Ready in about a day, you won't believe how infusing vodka with pears, star anise, cinnamon, and cloves makes this tasty spiced pear liqueur.

Bottle filled with dark red liquid and tag reading cherry bourbon.

I'm sure you know a bourbon lover that would love this cherry infused bourbon.  Wait till you taste the amazing old fashioneds that you can make with this!

Two tall glasses filled with dark brown liqueur.

First of all just look at these gorgeous glasses that I found at the World's Largest Yard Sale!  I think I paid a dollar each!  They were perfect for this homemade kahlua coffee liqueur.   So easy, so delicious and ready in about 2 weeks, so get started now!

Bottle of bright red liquid with raspberries scattered around.

One of my favorite ways to preserve the fleeting season for berries is by infusing alcohol!  In this case, this gorgeous fruity raspberry infused vodka is so delicious!  Turns every cocktail into a pretty pink color!

Bottle of dark brown liquid with tag reading chocolate liqueur.

Turn vodka into a rich and decadent chocolate liqueur in less than two weeks!  Perfect for spiking coffee and hot chocolate and it's great in an espresso martini!

Jar filled with brown liquid and label reading celery black pepper vodka.

Sure you could make your Bloody Mary with regular vodka, or you could make it celery black pepper vodka.  I think the choice is obvious, don't you?   Ready in about 3-5 days.

Decanter filled with yellow liquid with two glasses.

Another one of our most popular liqueur recipes is this Homemade Limoncello!  Just look at that gorgeous color!  No artificial colors or flavors, it's all pure lemon!

Bottle of orange liquid with tag reading chamomile pear infused vodka.

This Chamomile Pear Infused Vodka is so delightful!  Pear with a hint of floral.  Makes an amazing martini.

Two bottles of homemade ginger liqueur. We love ginger liqueur so much, we make two versions!  One is Vodka Based and one is Infused Brandy.  They are both delicious.  We use the vodka based in lighter cocktails and the brandy version in warmer, richer cocktails.

Bottle of dark red liquid with tag reading rose infused vodka.

Soft and floral rose infused vodka is always popular around Valentine's Day, but we drink it year round.

Jar filled with brandy, oranges, cloves.

Hands down the most popular recipe on my blog and with good reason!  This Winter Solstice Brew is a heavenly infused brandy.  Citrus and spice and all things nice!

Mason jar filled with a clear liquid, pineapple and a jalapeno pepper.

Sure you could have a regular margarita.  Or you could have one made with Pineapple Jalapeño Infused Tequila.  I think you'll make the right choice.

Bottle of dark brown liquid and tag reading hazelnut liqueur.

Yes, you can buy store bought hazelnut liqueur.  But it's not as good as this homemade.  I promise.  This is so good.

Bottle of clear liquid with tag reading lavender infused gin.

If the Winter Solstice Brew is my most popular post in the winter, this lavender infused gin is the most popular year round.  It is so elegant.  I like to sip it chilled in the most delicious martini!

Bottle filled with cherries and liqueur.

A favorite around our house, we love sipping this Homemade Cherry Liqueur all year long.  It's also great drizzled over ice cream!

Mason jar with dark red liquid.

I usually have a gin and tonic on Monday evenings, it's what helps get me through a Monday.  Last week my husband surprised me with a vodka tonic instead made with this blackberry infused vodka!  It was so fruity and good, just what a Monday needed!

Jar filled with liquid and orange slices.

This Homemade Orange Liqueur is the one that gets used the most in our house.  We love it in margaritas!

Mason jar filled with clear liquid, cucumber slices and a red pepper.

I admit it, I love gin.  It's my liquor of choice.  When it's Spicy Cucumber Infused Gin it's over the top good!!   I love to sip it chilled in the summer for the best martini!

Bottle filled with red liquid and label reading candy cane vodka.

In about an hour you can have this minty Candy Cane Vodka!!  Try a little in hot chocolate, pour it on ice cream or add a little to your cocktails to make them so festive!

Jar filled with tequila and watermelon.

Last, but not least is Watermelon Infused Tequila.  I know!!  You can only imagine how amazing the margaritas are with this tequila.

        Limoncello:
10 lemon peels, 1litre grain alcohol
        Cure 40 days.
Strain and add simple syrup (any basic recipe will be fine) with fruit extract (lemon of course).
        Cure 2 more days.
        Chill before serving

When giving as gifts, do you take the infused ingredients out or leave them in?
